Will you verify my benefits?

Legends OB/GYN extends the courtesy of verifying benefits prior to rendering office or hospital procedures, however there is no guarantee that your insurance carrier will pay your medical claim. Your insurance carrier states that any verbal benefit they provide is NOT guarantee of payment.

What if I miss an appointment?

If you are unable to keep your appointment, please reschedule at least 24 hours in advance.

What are your office hours?

Patient appointments are scheduled between the hours of 9am and 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. Our staff takes pride in seeing patients promptly by appointment but due to the nature of our services, unforeseen delays occasionally may occur. The receptionist will inform you if your doctor is delayed by a surgery or emergency and make accommodations that are acceptable to your schedule. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment arrival time you may have to reschedule.

How can I have my prescription refilled?

Prescription refills are filled during office hours only when your medical record is accessible. Please allow the office 24 hours for prescription refills. You will need to provide your full name, date of birth, name of your prescription and pharmacy phone number

What hospitals does Legends OB/GYN have privileges?

Our physicians have privileges at Overland Park Regional and Providence Medical Center hospitals.

Do you accept patients that do not have health insurance?

Our office accepts patients without health insurance as self-pay patients. This means the fees are due at the time of service. The amount of the fees depends on the service.

If I have an emergency after hours, is there a physician available?

There is a physician on call for emergencies after hours. If you have a non-emergent issue, we request you call back during normal business hours.
